About

Llangorse Multi Activity Centre is an award-winning indoor and outdoor activity centre set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) National Park, around six miles from Brecon.

Open all year round, the centre offers a wide range of activities for individuals, families, schools and groups, with options for beginners through to more experienced participants.

INDOOR ADVENTURE & CLIMBING

Our indoor facilities offer plenty of adventure whatever the weather. Activities include climbing, bouldering, indoor caving, high-level rope bridges and abseiling, including our 16-metre indoor abseil tower.

We also have a dedicated climbing centre for both new and experienced climbers, with instructed sessions, coaching, children's climbing clubs and pay-as-you-go climbing available.

HORSE RIDING

Llangorse Riding Centre offers riding experiences for a wide range of ages and abilities, from children's pony rides and complete beginners through to intermediate and experienced riders.

Rides take place across more than 25 miles of private bridleways on Llangorse land and adjoining hillside, offering beautiful views across the surrounding countryside.

For younger riders, we also offer Pony Camps during the school holidays, with half and full-day options combining riding with time spent learning about and caring for the ponies.

Children's Riding Holidays are also available on selected dates, offering multi-day riding experiences for young riders.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

Our outdoor activities include archery, abseiling and Junior Woodland Adventure – a woodland obstacle course for children aged 6–13, featuring elevated crossings, balance challenges, tunnels, swinging tyres and a zip line.

We also offer tailored activity programmes for schools, youth organisations, corporate groups and other organised groups.

STAY A LITTLE LONGER

Visitors can make more of their time at Llangorse with a range of accommodation options, including camping, camping pods, group bunkhouses and nearby self-catering accommodation.

Our Giant Tipis offer an additional seasonal option, available for families during selected holiday periods and for schools and groups from late April to September.

BASE CAMP CAFÉ

Our on-site Base Camp Café welcomes everyone – from activity centre visitors, climbers and campers to families, groups and those simply passing by.

Serving hot and cold drinks, meals, light bites and homemade cakes, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available. Indoor and covered outdoor seating is available, and group catering can also be arranged.

Advance booking is strongly recommended for instructed activities.
