The Talyllyn’s annual Heritage Weekend continues the 75th anniversary celebrations.
With a mixture of themed trains representing different eras and parts of the Talyllyn’s history, focusing on pre-preservation on the Saturday and early preservation on the Sunday, there will also be displays relating to the Talyllyn and wider narrow gauge and slate history of Wales along, and near, the railway.

From complete locomotives to tickets, it is a unique and comprehensive record of these fascinating railways.
Rheilffordd Talyllyn Railway, TywynHistoric narrow-gauge steam railway set in beautiful, unspoilt southern Snowdonia. Running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol, the line passes the delightful Dolgoch Falls and there are excellent forest walks at Nant Gwernol.
