The National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells has more than 250 bikes, from boneshakers and penny farthings to modern racing machines, in the old Automobile Palace. Quackers Indoor Play Centre on the edge of town has soft play, a cafe and a pedal go-kart track for younger children. In Rhayader, CARAD TimeScape is a hands-on museum about the town and its people.
