About the Area
The world famous Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway runs alongside the park, with a station only 50 yards down the lane. A trip on the railway will take you west into Tywyn or east to Dolgogh Falls, on to Abergynolwyn and further on up the pine clad valley to Nant Gwernol. There you can walk the forest paths or relax amidst the trees.

The area provides much to interest young families and individuals. Beautiful, unspoilt, natural countryside to relax in, or try pony trekking. The beach at Tywyn offers hour of fun with clean sea water for surfing, boating, swimming, diving or just splashing about. You may be lucky and spot the dolphins and seals that live in Cardigan Bay.

The area is also steeped in Celtic Myth with legends to fire the imagination. There are so many attractions to suit all tastes that you will never be short of things to do. The only problem being that Tynllwyn offers so much peace and tranquility, it hard to move outside of the park.
