Located near the small town of Llanidloes in Powys, Oak Cottage is a converted barn set within the grounds of a former grinding mill. This adult-only property offers a quiet, comfortable base for couples looking to take a break from the usual routine. Oak Cottage can be booked on its own or with two neighbouring cottages sleeping up to nine guests in total.

All on one level (with a few steps to the entrance), the cottage has an open-plan layout with a living area, Freeview TV, WiFi, and an electric stove for colder evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s a dining table for two. The double bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and bedside tables, with a clean, modern shower room located just off the lounge.

Outside, there’s a small seating area at the front with countryside views, and a shared garden to the rear. The cottage sits on a working farm with easy access to walking and cycling trails.

Nearby, you can explore Hafren Forest, visit the lake at Llyn Clywedog, or spend time at Powis Castle and its gardens. The coast is also within reach - both Aberystwyth and Aberdovey make for good day trips.
