About
It’s Eisteddfod time – back in 1176 Lord Rhys would have trained his Knights during the summer before the first Eisteddfod was held at the Castle on Christmas Day.
Why not do something totally different this year? Train to become a Knight.
Bring your budding Knight’s along to Cardigan Castle’s Knight School!
An hour of historical fun with our very own Knight School Instructor Sir Jon
Your children will learn how to pledge allegiance, handle their swords, fire arrows and ride their trusty steed like true Knights! Once they’ve successfully completed all the tasks, they will be presented with their very own certificate to show they’ve passed their training!
Participation in the Knight school is included with an admission ticket to the Castle. One parent/guardian must purchase an entry ticket to the Castle and remain with the child/children participating in the Knight School. Places are limited so please book your child’s place in advance, to avoid disappointment.
There are three Knight school sessions 10.30am, 12.00pm, 1.30pm.
Knight School is limited to only 12 Trainee Knights per session – book early!
