Our all-day menu at the Corris Café is a welcoming blend of the finest Welsh ingredients, local recipes and delicious dishes.
There’s a warm welcome, and plenty of returning customers are a sure sign that the food is freshly prepared and tasty. Proper coffee is served by trained baristas, and bread is baked in-house. Young and old are equally well looked after with different menu options. There’s a good selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options too.
There is free WIFI with seating available indoors and outdoors.
WELSH FOOD AND DRINK SHOP
Right next door is The Welsh Deli where you'll find the shelves stocked with jams, preserves, tea, coffee, ciders, beers, wine, spirits, liqueurs, cheeses, honey, eggs, biscuits, cakes and much more all of which has been grown, reared or produced in Wales, much by local artisan producers. Great gift ideas and a range of exciting ingredients for spicing up your own recipes. Luxurious Food and Drink Hampers are a speciality, choose from a selection of ready made hampers or select your favourite Welsh treats from across the Deli and a luxury hamper will be created for you.
CORRIS CRAFT CENTRE
The Corris Café is at the centre of the Corris Craft Centre which is home to 9 independent craft workshops and the resident designer-makers. Crafts handmade at the centre include mixed media artwork and photography, celtic and contemporary jewellery, pottery and smoking dragons, hand carved candles, handmade chocolates, natural forest furniture, flamework & glass sculptures, pet portraits & dog supplies and multi award-winning Dyfi Distillery gin.

Many of the workshops welcome private commission work and some offer the chance for hands-on and fun crafting activities including pottery painting, pottery throwing, chocolate making, candle dipping and furniture building workshops.
KING ARTHUR'S LABYRINTH - UNDERGROUND STORYELLING ADVENTURE
Right next to The Corris Café is King Arthur's Labyrinth, winner of a 2024 Trip Advisor Travellers' Choice award, where you sail by boat and through the magical veil of an underground waterfall into a mythical world of storytelling with dragons, giants, fierce battles and the legendary King Arthur. The stories unfold, as you're guided on foot, through the Labyrinth, with dramatic scenes, light and sound.
CORRIS MINE EXPLORERS
Also next to the café is Corris Mine Explorers. Winner of a 2024 Trip Advisor Travellers' Choice award and Best Experience / Activity in Mid Wales. Corris Mine Explorers offers underground explorations into the secret abandoned workings of the old Braich Goch slate mine. Worked from 1836 to 1970 when the miners left and the door creaked shut leaving a virtual time capsule which you can now explore.

There are direct trains from Birmingham to Machynlleth (6 miles from Corris) every two hours.There are regular buses from Aberystwyth, Dolgellau and Machynlleth: T2 stops right outside the attraction and 34 stops in the village of Corris. Sustrans Cycle Route 8 passes nearby.
