King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Corris Caverns

Sail by boat through an underground waterfall and step into the world of Welsh myths and King Arthur. Guided by a Dark Age Boatman, groups journey through caverns and tunnels where dragons, giants and ancient battles are brought to life with sound, light and dramatic scenes. Boats carry up to 18 people, with sailings every 15 minutes and discounts for groups of 15 or more. Open Easter to end of October. 

For groups: 15+, multiple boats available, discounted FIT organiser rates, complimentary pre‑visits.

Corris Mine Explorers, Corris Caverns

Follow in the footsteps of Victorian slate miners on an underground adventure in the old Braich Goch mine. Explore broad tunnels and vast chambers where slate was excavated by hand and explosive, with expert Mine Guides sharing original artefacts and stories left untouched since the 1970s. Corris Mine Explorers has held a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 10 consecutive years. Open all year for group bookings. Groups: up to 40, discounted rates for 10+, discounted FIT organiser rates, complimentary pre‑visits.

 The Welsh Legends Maze, Corris Caverns

Step into a world where stories whisper through the leaves. The outdoor maze is filled with characters and stories from the Mabinogion and other Welsh legends. Discover the ancient stories of bards and fairy folk hidden inside the leafy maze and as you follow winding paths meet figures like Blodeuwydd and King March, tackle different quests for all ages and look out for native wildlife around the pond, megalith and leafy paths. Open Easter to end of October.

Groups: suitable for all ages, prizes for completed quests.

Corris Craft Centre, Corris Caverns

A collection of nine independent craft workshops, each creating and selling their own handmade designs. Groups can browse at their own pace, meet the Designer‑Makers and, by arrangement, book hands‑on activities including pottery painting, herbal crafting, furniture building, candle making and crafty gaming fun. Dyfi Distillery on site offers private tours and tutored tastings of award‑winning artisan gin for small groups. Workshops open Easter to end of October, with some opening at other times of year.

Groups: activities typically for 8–20 depending on workshop.

Corris Café and Deli, Corris Caverns

A welcoming café serving an all‑day menu using local and seasonal produce, with freshly ground locally roasted coffee, Welsh teas, homemade cakes and daily‑baked scones. Special group menus are available for pre‑booked groups of 15 or more, and the café can seat up to 80 people. Open February to December with free coach parking at Corris Caverns and complimentary refreshments vouchers for coach drivers.

Corris Caverns – Group and Travel Trade hub

King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Corris Mine Explorers, The Welsh Legends Maze, Corris Craft Centre and the Corris Café all start from Corris Caverns. Group visits can combine multiple attractions, with other on‑site experiences available for those not going underground. Free coach parking, discounted group rates and complimentary familiarisation visits are available for Travel Trade organisers.

Corris Caverns is on the main A487 road between Machynlleth and Dolgellau near Corris in Mid Wales. Coach drop off point right next to the main entrance and free coach parking available all day.

Public Transport Directions

The nearest train station is Machynlleth (6 miles) and there's local public transport serving the village of Corris. Regular buses travel from Aberystwyth, Dolgellau and Machynlleth: T2 stop right outside.

Various cycle routes pass close by; NCN route 8, Lon Las (North), Lon Las Cymru and Southern Snowdonia Circular.
