Drop into Caffi Cledrau for fresh coffee, homemade cakes and light lunches beside Aberystwyth railway station.
Taking its name from the Welsh word for “tracks”, this bright and welcoming café overlooks both the Vale of Rheidol narrow‑gauge railway and the Cambrian main line. Large windows let you watch the trains come and go while you relax over something good to eat.
You don’t have to be travelling on the railway to visit - Cledrau is open to everyone. It’s a friendly space for locals, commuters and visitors alike, whether you’re meeting friends, taking a break in town or starting your journey into the Rheidol Valley.
The menu includes barista coffee, cakes baked daily, sandwiches, toasties, paninis, jacket potatoes and daily specials, all freshly prepared to eat in or take away. Dogs are welcome too.
Come and enjoy a warm croeso at Caffi Cledrau - a relaxed spot to sit, watch the world go by, and enjoy a taste of Ceredigion hospitality.
