Mid Wales Tours is the only licenced tour guiding company in the UK providing clients with fully guided tours on a motorcycle and sidecar. The sidecar tours are for a maximum of two people one in the sidecar and one as a pillion passenger.

Green Badge Tour Guide
Sean, is a member of Wales' Official Tourist Guides Association, qualified to provide, coach tours, walking and site tours. A former police motorcycle patrol rider, Sean has set up a unique experience, based in Aberystwyth, providing motorcycle and sidecar tours in Mid and North Wales.
Motorcycle & Side Car Tours
The motorcycle providing the power is a Triumph Scrambler XC 1200. The sidecar has been factory fitted to the motorcycle and is fully compliant with all construction and use regulations. The sidecar is fitted with a lap belt for client safety and comfort and was made by Watsonian Squire from Morton in Marsh, a company who have been making sidecars since 1910.
Customers are equipped with radios and Sean provides a commentary as you travel around the countryside. Helmets and wet weather clothing can also be provided if required.
Tours run between Easter and the end of October and, when weather permits, during the winter period. The tours offer a great day our for couples celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, or other special occasions.
Driver Guided Tours - max 4 persons
Mid Wales Tours have expanded its fleet to include a Ford Edge five seater SUV to carry out private driver guiding for four guests. Mid Wales Tours vehicle will carry four guests and their luggage in comfort while they have a guided tour around Mid and North Wales. The vehicle is licensed as a private hire vehicle by Ceredigion County Council and is fully insured to carry paying passengers.
Mid Wales Tours allow visitors to experience the Mid Wales mountains, lakes, scenery and highways and byways from a totally different perspective - smell, hear and see things you wouldn’t experience in an air-conditioned car. It’s all about the journey rather than the destination.
Sean stops at lots of places for photo opportunities and travel along roads that most people wouldn’t go on and, having spent 30 years as a police officer in Mid Wales, Sean has plenty of stories to share with customers.
Chice of Half Day or Full Day Tours
Mid Wales Tours offer a choice of eight-hour and four-hour tours of Ceredigion, Powys and Gwynedd, and can arrange bespoke tours if customers have a specific request. All tours must be prebooked and examples of tours on offer include:

Mid Wales Tours offer driver guided tours for up to four people using a Ford Edge SUV. Sean will arrange tours of Mid and North Wales taking up to four clients at a time and tours can last from a day to several weeks. Sean will collect you from an airport and at the end take you to your onward destination.
