About

Luxury Lodges Wales are an idyllic self-catering retreat, located near Newtown, in the heart of Mid Wales conveniently makes it the perfect central base to go off exploring. Whether its a trip to the coast (45 minute drive away, or take a scenic direct train ride) or exploring the local area, you'll have access to a wide range of sporting and leisure activities including karting, fishing, woodland walking trails and mountain biking for all ages throughout the year, or for those thrill seekers, the world famous Zip World is just a 2 hour drive away.

Our authentic alpine lodges are nestled in a peaceful countryside setting, with the charm of a small woodland surrounding the lodges, and panoramic views over looking the Trannon valley, providing sumptuous accommodation to a 5-star standard. Luxury Lodges Wales offers a relaxing experience, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, with vibrant plantation and manicured lawns, all lodges are well spaced apart, offering a secluded getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Why not soak up the peaceful surroundings from the convenience of your own private hot tub. Located on the veranda, our hot tubs are sheltered, so come rain or shine, you can enjoy them in all weather (some guests have even recommended it in snow!)

Each centrally-heated lodge has one double and two twin/double bedrooms (except Crows Nest lodge which has 2 ground floor bedrooms) with a private hot-tub and a Jacuzzi/power shower in the main bathroom, and flat-screen televisions in the master bedroom and landing. All lodges (except Crows Nest lodge) have been recently upgraded to a 65inch Smart TV in the living area). Offering free WiFi access, and a fully-equipped kitchen - it's all there for you. Plus ample car-parking next to your lodge, wheelchair access downstairs, and a barbeque stand for disposable BBQ trays. All linen and towels are provided too. A super fast broadband Wi-Fi system has also recently been installed, with download speeds of 50 meg, free to lodge guests. Cots and highchairs are also available for hire. Disposable BBQ charcoal trays can be puchased at Reception, for our specially made stands (so no BBQ cleaning is needed) Free fishing is available on site, exclusive to lodge guests, as well as fresh eggs from our laying hens. There is also a panoramic nature walk which can be completed in a loop around our 80 acre grounds, offering breath-taking views of the Cambrian mountains.

The convenience of self catering stays means you can tailor your stay around you. Whether its whipping up a tasty family feast in your lodge and cozying up infront of our 65inch Smart TVs for a family cinema night, or choosing to dine out in local eateries and restaurants and retreat back to a warm bubbling hot tub and a glass of wine, we've got you covered. Family run and with several years in the hospitality industry, a warm welcome awaits you at Luxury Lodges Wales..
