About

A warm welcome awaits you at Hendy, situated in the Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy Self Catering accommodation on a working farm with the privilege of its own halt on the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway.

From here you can leisurely tour town or coutryside. We are also within walking distance of the seaside town of Tywyn and its renowned sandy beach, with all its facilities to enhance your stay. These include a leisure centre, an indoor swimmimg pool. a cinema, many pubs and restaurants.

Guests are free to walk the 250 acres as they choose and also to relax in the gardens which attract various species of birds. Ample parking area and electric car charging point available for guest use.

Road Directions

On the A493 Dolgellau to Tywyn Road take the left turn by the Welcome to Tywyn sign. Go up the lane and left at farm-drive. From Tywyn BR Station, take the Talyllyn Steam Train and stop at Hendy Halt.
