There's a hidden world waiting to be discovered as we open our moth traps.

Join us at RSPB Ynys-hir to discover what has been attracted to the moth traps overnight and help us identify the varied species inside. We'll see some masters of camouflage, tiny micro moths and hopefully some huge and brightly coloured hawkmoths. You will never think that moths are dull again! With ID guides on hand, we will see how many we can name. Often the names are just as impressive and intriguing as the moths themselves.

No previous experience needed. Excellent photographic opportunities of the moths and the chance to encounter some marvellous moth species.
