Bygones Weekend

About

Come along and enjoy a three-day weekend of vintage Ffestiniog Railway trains, during which we will be showcasing significant eras of our history, with stock from our heritage collection working an intensive timetable – including passenger, gravity, slate and freight trains.

This popular event, which is becoming a staple in our calendar, provides an opportunity for us all to come together to celebrate and enjoy the locomotives, carriages & waggons which have played their part in shaping the story of our historic railway.

In addition to a busy timetable of passenger and freight trains, including gravity trains, goods trains and a few outings by Spooner’s Boat, there will be plenty of exciting additional activities taking place including morning & evening photography sessions, Boston Lodge tours and stalls at Harbour Station!

3-day and 1-day rover tickets are available, allowing users to hop on & hop off different services.
