About

At Welsh Mountain Cider we specialize in making fine, natural ciders, and grafting and growing hardy apples and pear trees. Our experience in the blending of apples and pears gives us the first hand knowledge to help you plant the perfect orchard to suit your needs.

If you would like to try our ciders, visit our orchard or find out more about what we do, please come and visit us.

Orchard tours, live music, cider, food, beautiful views, and camping availabe (please e-mail to reserve camping).

You can book a tour on specific dates, or other days by appointment, so please ring us if you would like to stop and buy some bottles, or book a guided tour and tasting for the full experience.

Guided Tours

Our guided tour will take you through our museum orchard of over 450 varieties of apple and 50 varieties or pear. We will discuss our orchard practices, growing organically and at altitude, and our approach to minimum intervention, biodiverse orchards. Next we will talk about our cider production techniques for making live, naturally fermented, vintage ciders. We will then taste three bottled vintage ciders and talk about the different flavours and styles of cider that we produce.
