About

Alex Allpress Pottery School offers pottery courses, ceramics workshops and hands-on experience days in Mid Wales, led by Alex and Blue. Sessions focus on wheel throwing and hand building, giving you the chance to learn practical pottery skills in a relaxed, welcoming studio setting.

You can choose from bespoke pottery experiences, half day and full day workshops, family group sessions or pottery parties. Each person has their own pottery wheel, with one-to-one teaching support throughout. Clay and glazing are provided, so you can create and finish your own ceramic pieces with confidence.

These pottery classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to those looking to build or refine their skills. A good option for couples, families, small groups or anyone looking for a creative day out.

Your finished pottery is fired after the session and sent on to you, giving you something tangible to remember your time in the studio.

Pottery experience vouchers are also available, making this a thoughtful gift for birthdays, celebrations or special occasions.

Booking is required for all sessions and places are limited. Visit the website to check course dates, pottery parties and voucher options.
