About

Alex Allpress Pottery School offers group pottery workshops, team building sessions and creative experience days in Mid Wales, led by experienced ceramic artist Alex, alongside Blue. Set within a unique converted chapel studio, the space provides a calm, characterful setting that feels a world away from the usual meeting room.

Sessions combine wheel throwing and hand building, with Alex sharing years of ceramics experience in a clear, supportive way. Each participant has their own pottery wheel and receives one-to-one teaching throughout, making the experience accessible whether your group is completely new to pottery or looking to build on existing skills. Clay and glazing are included, so everyone can create and complete their own ceramic pieces.

Workshops can be tailored for corporate groups, team building, business away days, as well as celebrations, family gatherings and private parties. The focus is on hands-on learning, shared experience and giving people something meaningful to take away from the day.

Finished pieces are fired after the session and sent on, providing a lasting reminder of the experience.

Sessions are available as bespoke bookings, with half day and full day options. Advance booking is required. Visit the website to check availability or get in touch to plan a group session that suits your team or group.
