About

Kilsby is a special place and Kilsby Cottage is a delightful property in a stunning location. The views are spectacular. Watch the red kites from your window, walk or cycle on the many miles of footpaths and tracks and go horse riding on the many miles of bridleways.

You can also fish for trout and grayling in several local rivers and lakes including a reduced rate on our own Upper Irfon Beat. Alternatively you can just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Kilsby is 1.25 miles from Llanwrtyd Wells (home of bog snorkelling, beer festivals and the Man vx Horse race) in the heart of Mid Wales. It is a pleasant 20 minutes walk away.

Kilsby cottage is open all year round. Short breaks are available during low and mid seasons.

We are 1.25 miles from Llanwrtyd Wells with its excellent choice of places to eat. Builth Wells, 14 miles away has shops, a swimming pool and a cinema. Brecon, 25 miles away has more shops, a leisure centre, theatre, cinema and the Natinal Park Centre. There are numerous castles, gardens and National Trust properties nearby. The beautiful west coast is less than an hour away.
