About

Graig Fawr is a dog-friendly stone barn annexe for two, set within 40 acres of conservation farmland at Llanafanfawr, near Beulah, Powys, in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains.

Designed for couples or solo travellers looking for a peaceful rural stay, it has one double bedroom with an en-suite walk-in shower, a comfortable living area and a well-equipped kitchen-diner for self-catering. Underfloor heating keeps things cosy throughout the year, while outside there is a private garden patio overlooking the surrounding fields and wildlife pond.

Guests can follow cut grass paths through the farm’s wildflower meadows, hedgerows and pockets of woodland, with opportunities to spot red kites, buzzards, hares and other wildlife. Clear nights bring wonderfully dark skies too. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, although they need to be kept under control around the farm animals and neighbouring livestock.

Graig Fawr makes a quiet base for exploring this part of Mid Wales, with the Elan Valley and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park within reach. Self-service keyless entry makes arrival straightforward.
