Cliff Holiday Cottage

About

Caerwenfor (Cliff Holiday Cottage) is a self-catering holiday cottage with wide sea views, set around 300 metres above the coast between Llangrannog and Cwmtydu in Ceredigion, West Wales. Sleeping up to 4, it is a rare place to properly slow down, with no neighbouring properties overlooking you and the coast right in front of the windows.

Inside, the sitting room is a comfortable place to spend the evening, with two sea-facing windows, a RAIS woodburner, and a Smart TV and DVD player. The real pull, though, is what you can see from the house and the land around it. The cottage sits within its own 52 acres of SSSI land, with plenty of flora and fauna, and you can often spot dolphins, seals and seabirds out on the bay, with red kites and peregrine falcons overhead. On clear days you may even be able to see Bardsey Island on the Llŷn peninsula.

When you do head out, Cwmtydu beach is about 1.5 miles by road, or shorter on foot if you take the coastal path, which you can join from the property. For days out and supplies, you are also well placed for nearby coastal towns and villages including Aberporth, Llangrannog, New Quay, Aberaeron and Cardigan.

Bookings are weekly (Saturday to Saturday) from April to October, with short breaks available between November and March. There is also a hot tub, which makes a welcome end to a day on the coast. Use the Book Now link on the website to check available dates, or get in touch by phone or the contact us page if you have a quick question before booking.
