Bow Street railway station is on the Cambrian Line from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth; most trains run from/to Birmingham International. The station is located south of the village just off the A487; the postcode is SY23 3EA.

The original station was closed as part of the Beeching cuts in the 1960s. The new station, located south of the original site, was opened on 14 February 2021
