There are many opportunities for cycling on quiet roads in the Bala & Penllyn area, southern Snowdonia, you can find out more from the GoBala website which includes six cycling routes and other cycling possibilities. There are routes along valleys and challenging hill climbs including the highest road pass in Wales “Bwlch y Groes”, its not a surprise that Bala is the home of the annual Wild Wales Challenge cycling event and two Triathlons each year.
