Machynlleth Comedy Festival, now in its eleventh year, attracts thousands of fans of stand-up comedy to Machynlleth over the May Bank Holiday weekend, with this years’ Festival being celebrated from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May 2024.

For 3 days each year, Machynlleth Comedy Festival provides both famous and up in coming acts the platform to try new ideas and experiment.

The festival is made up of hundreds of shows held in multiple venues throughout Machynlleth.

Each show has it’s own capacity depending on the size of the room which range from 30 – 500 seaters, all of which are located within 10 minutes walk of each other in the centre of town. You only buy a ticket for the show(s) you want to see, allowing you to go and watch as much or as little as you want across the weekend.

The festival welcomes people of all ages with performances for all age groups as well as live music and theatre.
