Nestled in eight acres of breathtaking countryside, our three wheelchair accessible holiday bungalows offer the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Madog's Wells has something special for everyone.

Our location is a haven for wildlife and visitors have ample opportunities to unwind and reconnect with nature. It is surrounded by woodland walks that invite you to explore the picturesque landscape. 

Each bungalow has been thoughtfully designed to ensure accessibility for all, making it an inclusive and welcoming destination for guests with mobility needs.  

We have three holiday cottages; Wren's Nest (Sleeps 3) Blackbird Cottage - Sleeps 6 and Swallow Cottage - Sleeps 6. All three cottages are wheelchair friendly and an access statement is available.

All the holiday bungalows contain calor gas cookers, crockery, cutlery, Free-Sat TV, smoke detectors,  All heating, bedding, linen, some towels, tea towels and utilities are included in the prices.  Each cottage has a fire blanket and a safety torch in case of power outage or emergencies.

There is ample parking and patio tables and chairs are outside each unit. A rotary clothes line, pegs and washing machines are available for guests use. We have travel cots and high chairs available on request and there is a children's play area, a games room which contains darts, pool and table tennis (parental supervision for under 12's please).

Try our scaled solar system walk up a mountain to Neptune or the Woodland walk which skirts a pond, crosses bridges and wends its way around an acre of mixed woodland, bluebells, primroses and wild roses, broom and gorse. Maybe even rest a while on one of the three benches placed there to let you sit and enjoy the view.

For those yearning to explore Mid Wales, Madog's Wells is ideally located. Just a short 3-mile drive is Llanfair Caereinion which is home to the historic Welshpool & Llanfair Heritage Railway. The market town of Welshpool is 10 miles and there you will find the National Trust Powys Castle & Gardens. Newtown and Montgomery are both within easy reach.

  • Families - Families are welcome, we have high chairs and travel cots available. Please do not bring more people than the cottages can accommodate.
