The Park...

Derwen Mill is a family-run holiday park designed for those looking to enjoy tranquillity, peace and relaxation with their loved ones.

Set within 24-acres of parkland in which to relax and explore, the well-landscaped gardens, enticing lakes and large lawned areas make Derwen Mill one of the most beautiful holiday home parks in Mid Wales.

Located within easy walking distance of the picturesque village of Guilsfield, this exclusive five-star park has been beautifuly developed to make the most of its stunning surroundings. 

The park is open 11-months of the year (closed in January) and is fully accessible for people with pushchairs and wheelchairs. 

Facilities...

All caravan and lodge pitches at Derwen Mill are well spaced and fully serviced to include mains services, WiFi and piped gas, so that you can enjoy all the comforts of modern living. 

Nestled amongst mature trees, a babbling brook and immaculately kept lawns, are large fishing pools that are kept fully-stocked with coarse fish. The pools also offer a wide range of interests for the wildlife enthusiast.

On the doorstep of Derwen Mill you will find many great woodland walks to explore - as well as facilities such as tennis and bowls in the nearby village centre - while on the park itself you can enjoy strolling the paths and relaxing in the outdoor seating areas.

As well as being the perfect place to enjoy the very best of what nature has to offer, all the pitches benefit from their own private parking spaces, fibre broadband connectivity and low-level lighting, while there is also a launderette of site.

Caravans and Lodges...

Here at Derwen Mill we don't do rows of caravans in tight uniformed spaces!

Instead, our holiday homes and luxury lodges are set on spacious pitches and are either wrapped around lakes or overlooking large greens spaces. Each pitch also comes complete with its own private tarmacadam parking space.

The village...

It is not often you find a holiday home park witin easy walking distance of a village, but that is exactly what you get at Derwen Mill. 

Guilsfield is a postcard setting with quaint country cottages and a lovely church. There are two thriving pubs with restaurants, two shops, a Post Office, and the popular Derwen Garden Centre, which also has a delightful farm shop and cafe.

The village plays host to several sports clubs and includes many facilities for you to enjoy, such as tennis courts, bowling greens and even more fishing pools.

For those who enjoy walking, the woodland surrounding the village offers the perfect location. Gaer Fawr occupies a hill just north of the village with a network of paths that lead up to an Iron Age Fort at the summit. It is a beautiful oak woodland with an excellent dispaly of bluebells in the spring. 

Less than three miles from the park is the popular market town of Welshpool, where you wuill find everything you need to enjoy the time you spend at your home-from-home.
