Details
The self-catering Eco Lodge at Denmark Farm is nestled within the 40 acre nature reserve. A timber framed building with sheep's wool insulation in the walls, capped by a green sedum roof and heated with biomass boilers plus individual woodburners in each apartment. Built with comfort, warmth and sustainability in mind. The locally made beds all come with extra thick duvets and hand-made welsh blankets to keep guests cosy even on the coldest winter nights.
The Eco Lodge sleeps up to 12 people in three separate apartments or these can be connected for one large group get together. Costs range from just £200 for a long weekend for two to £1,100 for a full week with 12 guests.
The 40 acre nature reserve at Denmark Farm is perfect for a wintery afternoon stroll. With easy paths and trails meandering around the site you can discover a wide range of stunning habitats (woodland, meadow, pasture, lakes and ponds) and local wildlife.
There is no charge to walk around but we do request a donation to help us keep the reserve accessible for all.
Open dawn to dusk, everyday except 24th December.
