Luxury, en-suite Wigwam® Cabins line the edge of the pretty farm. Each glamping pod has its own outdoor private dining area with views across the countryside to the majestic mountains. Inside, the cabins are insulated and fully fitted for everything you need for a relaxing stay in the mid-Wales countryside.

Glamping holidays are a tonic for our hectic lives. Here at Wigwam® Holidays Hafren, it’s easy to unwind and leave the real world far behind. From your own al-fresco dining table or the calm of a luxury hot tub, enjoy the endless views across the green countryside to the majestic mountain backdrop. Take a gentle walk around the farm and on through the nearby country and get the family together for a BBQ followed by toasting marshmallows and star gazing around your very own fire pit. From morning until night time, there are lots of ways to relax and connect with your favourite people, without leaving the beautiful glamping site.

Stargazing at Wigwam® Holidays Hafren
One of the great joys of the rural landscapes of mid-Wales is the dark skies above the lush countryside. Celebrating the area's Dark Sky Status is Dark Sky Wales hosts stargazing events throughout the country and if astronomy is your thing, then glamping at Wigwam® Holidays Hafren is an ideal location for stargazing activities. Guided workshops, activities and events take place during the star-gazing season with presentations and activities for children and adults. It’s a wonderful way to learn about the night sky, a skill you can take anywhere with you and enjoy wherever you go.

Brenin Adventures
Adventure awaits! Just half an hour along the A470 from Wigwam® Holidays Hafren is the outdoor activity centre Brenin Adventures. Whatever your age or ability, there’s an activity to enjoy. From sailing, canoeing and kayaking to archery, bushcraft and rock sports. The team are on hand to help you get started, or take you through your next level of accreditation if you’re working through a training programme.

Walking in the wilds with Bryn Walking
Guided walks and navigation training and activities in stunning surroundings throughout mid-Wales. Start from Newton, the guided walks are designed for you by your guide and will take you through points of interest and levels of difficult suited to you and your group. Traverse the changing landscape, through moors, past castles, around forests and woodland and into a local pub for lunch!

Clywedog Lake
Just twenty minutes drive from Wigwam® Holidays Hafren is this wonderful lake - voted consistently in the top 10 fishing lakes in Wales. The lake is part of a man-made reservoir and is a beautiful place to relax, fish, picnic and generally while away a lovely afternoon in peace and quiet.

Elan Valley
This stunning, historical landscape an incredible spot for explorers - especially if you love snapping pictures for your Intagram feed. Widely recognised as the most instagrammed place in the whole of Wales, it's one of those 'must-see-to-be-believed' destinations. There are excellent cycle paths for a cool bike ride or walkways where you can take in the dams and reservoirs and enjoy a bit of wildlife spotting.

Explore the famous mountain ranges of the Cambrian Mountains and Snowdonia
If you're glamping in Wales, chances are you'll love getting out into nature and where better to spend some of your time than hiking in some of the most stunning scenery Wales has to offer? Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons is only 13 miles away from the glamping site and well worth carving out some time to explore this beautiful area.

Slightly closer to Wigwam® Holidays Hafren is the impressive Cambrian Mountains. They, alongside Snowdonia, are popular destinations for hill walkers and mountain climbers, making Wigwam® Holidays Hafren the ideal place to stay so you can enjoy a day in the great outdoors and leave the tourists behind you as you make your way back to a peaceful, quiet glamping site.
