Details
Glamping in our private woodland is a seriously indulgent getaway where you can experience sleeping under the stars without sacrificing any luxuries.
Our 6m Stargazer tents are nestled in the trees on the banks of the river Banwy. With a 360 degree transparent roof canopy the tents are flooded with natural daylight and in the evening you can lie back and watch the stars as you drift off to sleep.
Fully furnished for comfort there’s a king size bed, sofa, chest of drawers and more, plus with the wood-burning stove you can snuggle up for a super cosy evening.
Just outside is your own private shower shack (with hot water) and a composting loo.
You also have your own wooden decked area with outdoor furniture and beautiful views over the river. Cook alfresco over your fire-pit and sit around the hot embers as dusk falls with your favourite tipple. A fully loaded forest kitchen gives you everything you need to self cater.
Relax, de-stress & reconnect with nature. In Spring, our woodlands bursts into life with a breath-taking display of birdsong, bluebells and wild wood anemones. Wild garlic and blackberries follow shortly after. There’s always a bounty of flora and fauna to be discovered. A haven of wildlife, with local residents including: Owls, woodpeckers, red kites, buzzards, herons, kingfishers, dippers and otters (to name but a few) and all just outside your tent door!
You can wild swim, hike through the woods and over the hills or simply relax under the trees on the river bank.
Plus we have fine game fishing, our 2 mile stretch of the banwy is a fly-fisher’s paradise. With a mixture of deep pools and fast, challenging runs, it holds a good head of wild brown trout, the occasional late-run salmon, as well as grayling – the lady of the stream.
What are you waiting for? Your Welsh woodland adventure awaits!
