Workshop/Course, Thu 30 May 2019

SA43 2SF

Medieval wild food walk and foraging workshop. Join professional forager Jade Mellor on a walk around Cilgerran castle and down through the woods to the gorge. We will identify and gather a selection of wild and cultivated herbs that would have been traditionally used during Medieval times as medicine. We will take our foraged finds back to the castle grounds where we will make herb tea and a wild herbal vinegar to take home.

Suitable for all ages (children to be accompanied by adults).
