COVID-19 Coronavirus: information. Please do not visit Mid Wales at this time and avoid all unnecessary travel. Following these guidelines will save lives. We look forward to welcoming you back in future; but for now, let’s all #staysafe.

Walking the Ceredigion section of the Wales Coast Path you will experience varied and often spectacular coastal landscapes - through wide tidal estuaries, beautiful sandy bays, isolated coves, and tiny villages.

Ceredigion’s coastline is special. The 60 miles/96 km route between the Teifi and Dyfi estuaries, you will discover a rich coastline: the dune system at Ynyslas, storm beaches, sandy bays and high cliffs. Four sections are designated as Heritage Coast whilst two areas within Cardigan Bay are Marine Special Areas of Conservation because of their importance for wildlife.

With great views north towards Snowdonia and south towards Pembrokeshire, the Ceredigion Coast path has wildlife, geological and archaeological features and a colourful history to discover along the way.

The footpath links coastal towns and villages along the spectacular scenery of the Cardigan Bay coastline. Wild flowers, seabirds and a wealth of wildlife await the walker. The area’s rich history is much in evidence, from iron-age hill forts to 19th century harbours.

Whether you want to stroll for an hour or stride out for a week, you’ll find what you’re looking for here. Join the Wales Coast Path which is well signed and waymarked, in coastal towns, villages or car parks.
