Haka Entertainment in collaboration with Aberystwyth Arts Centre are proud to present to you Mo Pleasure, quite simply one of the greatest keyboard players and multi-instrumentalists of his generation!

American composer and Musical Director, Morris “Mo” Pleasure has been at the forefront of American popular music for the last three decades and his CV reads like a ‘Who’s Who?’ of popular music. Mo began his professional career playing with Ray Charles before moving on to working with the likes of George Duke, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, Mary J Blige, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack to name but a few, and he is currently Musical Director for the iconic Bette Midler.

In 1993 he became a member and the Musical Director of legendary group Earth Wind and Fire and featured (playing keyboards, trumpet and guitar) on Janet Jackson’s 2001 “All for you” tour. Mo was also approached by Michael Jackson to play keyboards in his band that was scheduled to perform in the late superstar’s 2009 comeback ‘This Is It’ tour at London’s 02 Arena, which sadly never took place.

Join Mo Pleasure at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on the 7th of June as he presents his fully interactive multimedia show “My Pleasure- A Musical Journey”, in which he will perform the greatest music from his illustrious career that you already know and love!

Mo will be joined on stage by his incredible band, which features some of the UK's finest musicians together with guest appearances from some of Aberystwyth's finest talents and emerging artists.

This promises to be a phenomenal and fun night of live music so if listening to top quality funk, soul, R&B, pop and everything in between whilst having a good time is your thing, then this is the event for you!
