Outdoor Theatre at Powis Castle

About

Deep in an enchanted forest, mischief is afoot as the Fairy King and Queen feud, runaway lovers tie themselves in knots, and a group of hopeless actors prepare a theatrical spectacle. With the shapeshifting Puck leading the way, true love’s course is anything but smooth.

As this is an outdoor performance, we recommend bringing blankets, chairs, or cushions to sit on, and preparing for the weather with warm coats and waterproofs. Please refrain from bringing umbrellas, as they may obstruct the view for others.

Meeting point: Doors open at 18:00and the show starts at 19:00 The performance takes place in the Formal Garden. Please follow the stewards' directions from the main car park to the garden.

What to bring and wear: Please bring your own picnic blankets or low-backed seating. Dress for the weather and wrap up warm.

Accessibility: The Formal Garden is approximately a 10 minute walk from the car park. Please contact Powis Castle and Garden for information about our closer drop off area.

Other: Refreshments will be available for purchase from the coffee shop, and picnics are welcome during the performance.
