1 From the Corris Craft Centre A, go to the far end of the car park (away from the craft units) and follow a tarmac track. At the road junction turn L towards the main road and cross over to the bus stop, taking care as you do so. Follow the tarmac path to your R to take the second turning on your L to follow a walled zig zag path down to the village of Corris B. When you reach the road C, turn L to walk past the Corris Institute D. At the crossroads, turn R to walk down a steep hill.

2. Just before the bridge turn L through a G to follow a path along the river. Go through another G before going uphill to reach the end of a slate fence on your L. Turn L here through a G, then walk directly ahead through a kissing G. Follow the path up, soon turning L to walk along a tarmac track beneath the chapel E. At the end of the path F, turn R, then R again at the road junction. Walk uphill for a short distance before turning L.

3. Turn R at the next junction OR for short route turn L down to crossroads and turn R then R again up the zig-zag path back to the Craft Centre. To continue longer walk, go up a very steep hill past a cemetery G. Turn R at a finger post to follow the track up towards the plantation, passing model Italian village on your way H. When you reach an old slate shed turn L to walk along a grassy path to reach a viewpoint over the village of Corris Uchaf. Retrace your steps back to the slate shed and turn L to walk past some quarry ruins J.

4. Where the path splits, turn L to walk down through the trees to follow an old tramway. At the woodland boundary go through a G and follow the path down to reach a shale track. Turn R and follow it down through a metal G to road. Turn L and follow road K past a number of houses on your R then turn R at the finger post down into Aber Corris Nature Reserve L. After crossing the FB, turn R to follow the lower path around the bend and up to the road.

5. Turn L and follow the tarmac paving for approximately 200m before turning L to follow a
slightly hidden, waymarked path. The path gradually descends below the road, crossing a
small FB before ascending back onto the road above. Turn R for the car park.
