Returning for 2025 on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June Welshpool Poetry Festival is a two day celebration of contemporary poetry that will feature workshops, live readings, open mic sessions and a poetry showcase.
The festival has done its best to keep prices affordable and to provide something for every taste, including workshops, a free open mic, the competition, and evening showcase. With the open mic and showcase offering hybrid options enabling in-person or remote attendance, we really are aiming to be accessible to all. The festival prides itself on this and is hugely grateful for the services of Write4Word who help us deliver. We know you share our sincere belief in the power of poetry - its ability to comfort, inspire, heal, educate, unite, glorify, communicate, bring beauty – and perhaps we need this more than ever.
