About

Original Hideaways is a peaceful retreat venue set within 10 acres of private land alongside a 150-acre working farm in rural Mid Wales. It offers a place for people to slow down, reconnect and immerse themselves in nature.

Designed with makers, creatives and wellbeing practitioners in mind, the space is ideal for group retreats, workshops, and events that need time and room to breathe. Whether you’re leading a yoga weekend, a photography course, or a company away day, this unique rural setting brings calm, inspiration, and focus.

Accommodation & Spaces

The site has four beautifully converted farm buildings:

  • The Grain Loft - event space accommodating 25+ guests available for day hire or as part of a full-site retreat
  • The Mill House - accommodation with 5 double en-suite bedrooms
  • The Hay Barn - accommodation with 5 double en-suite bedrooms
  • The Piggeries - accessed via a walkway from the Mill House, offering a stunning dining area and cosy bar. The Piggeries also houses a separate treatment room, set up with towels and a massage table, ready for relaxation to commence.

Together, they create an intimate setting for overnight stays, group retreats, or multi-space creative projects. Guests have access to shared outdoor areas, woodland paths, and open countryside views.
