Gwyliau Cegir Escapes

About

Stay in the heart of the Dyfi Valley at Cegir Escapes. Our five handcrafted shepherd’s huts offer a quiet, comfortable base for exploring Mid Wales, located on a family farm just outside the village of Darowen.

Whether you are looking for a couple’s retreat or a family break, you will find space to breathe and relax. Each hut has its own private wood-fired hot tub, perfect for soaking up the view after a day of walking or cycling.

Inside, the huts are warm and well-equipped with wood-burning stoves, kitchen facilities, and comfortable beds. We have four huts sleeping two guests -Cut y Ddafad Ddu, Cut Bech, Cut y Barcud Coch, and Cut Cornel- plus Cut Mawr, which sleeps four and is ideal for small families or friends.

We are a dog-friendly site, so your four-legged companion can enjoy the countryside with you. You are just a short drive from Machynlleth for local supplies, cafés, and independent shops, while the beaches of the Cambrian Coast and the trails of Snowdonia are within easy reach.

Switch off, light the fire, and enjoy the slower pace of rural Powys.
