Coltrane Dedication

About

Step into an unforgettable night of raw energy, deep emotion, and fearless improvisation as Coltrane Dedication return to Wales with their powerful reimagining of John Coltrane's music.

This acclaimed Welsh quintet don't play tributes — they channel the visceral spirit, emotional fire, and forward-driving creativity of Coltrane's most iconic period (1960–1967), projecting it boldly into the 21st century.

Expect everything from the hard-swinging pulse of "Mr P.C.", to the meditative intensity of the A Love Supreme suite, to the explosive freedom of later-period Trane.

Praised by renowned jazz critic Ian Mann (thejazzmann.com) for their "skilled and passionate updating of the Coltrane legacy," Coltrane Dedication are known for nights filled with spirit, fire, and transcendent musical communication.

Join us at Hafan Jazz for a night of pure musical energy as Coltrane Dedication honour and ignite the legacy of a true master!
