Holly Gate House is a semi-detached property in rural mid Wales, with all modern conveniences, offering luxury self-catering accommodation. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone wishing a peaceful escape from modern day hustle and bustle.

A warm welcome awaits you at Holly Gate House, on the border of Mid Wales and the Welsh marches situated within walking distance of the village of New Radnor, close to the Offa’s Dyke path, Brecon, Ludlow, Hay on Wye, Llandrindod Wells, The Show Grounds at Builth Wells and Hereford to name a few.
Feel close to nature as you walk the lanes and footpaths listen to the sounds of local wildlife and breathe the clear welsh air.
Guest have access from their own front door to local walking tracks where it is very common to see the once endangered Red Kites, or you can venture further afield (literally) via immediate access to the A44.

During your stay, we want you to feel at home – but even more relaxed! The whole building is well insulated and centrally heated, cool in summer and extra cosy in our Welsh winters with the log burner for added comfort.

On your arrival the house will be decorated with fresh flowers along with a welcome pack, complimentary luxury toiletries and slippers for your use.

Holly Gate is ideal for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or a romantic getaway. With prior notice we can organise cakes, special flowers, balloon’s, luxury chocolates and gifts. Please feel free to contact us to discuss.

Utility Room
No holiday in the country is complete without someone splashing themselves with mud! The washing machine in the utility is reserved for your use, and don’t worry about buying washing detergent, unless you have some special requirements, as it is provided. The utility room also provide a great space to store your coats, boots and other walking gear. There is a clothes airier and outside rotary washing line but use of tumble dryer can be arranged at a small extra charge when available.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with just about everything you might need for preparing food on your holiday; gas hob, electric oven, free standing fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. We also provide some basic condiments such as tea/coffee/milk and a selection of mixed herbs and spices.

Living Room/Dining Room
The impressive living room/dining room has beautiful oak floors and wood burner
The TV has both Sky and a DVD player connected to it.
There is a selection of DVDs available.
There is a radio/CD player, and a Bluetooth speaker.
For non-technological entertainment, there is a selection of nonfiction books, guide books, some board games and some recent magazines.

Holly Gate House comfortably sleeps 4 adults.
Our two double bedrooms have luxury king sizes beds with extra deep pocket sprung mattresses and Egyptian cotton bedding, perfect for a great night’s rest after a day out walking,
Each room also includes a dressing table with mirror and built in wardrobe space for clothes and luggage.

Dressing Room
There is a small dressing room for extra storage and further space to get ready in comfort with the use of the dressing table with hairdryer and long wall mirror. A daybed is also located in this room which can accommodate an extra guest at additional cost.
