Camping Pods @ Hideaway in the Hills

About

Snowdonia Campsite

Dinas is a small, quiet, family friendly campsite, children welcome, and ideal for walkers and those who wish to enjoy the countryside. As a bonus you can relax by your own camp fire.

The campsite covers an area of approximately five acres mostly on level ground with a few nooks and crannies for you to choose from.

The campsite is split into a lower field by the stream and upper field surrounded by oak trees. Each pitch has its own eco friendly recycled plastic picnic table.

Campers pitch around the perimeter of the upper field leaving a large open space in the middle for ball games. Kids enjoy building dens in the woods, building dams in the stream or playing on the tree swings. The country lanes are very quiet and good for cycling.

Camping Pod - sleeps 2

This compact, cosy and very cute camping pod offers all the fun of camping, without the effort of putting up a tent!

Our standard size camping pod is an insulated wooden structure that provides comfortable accommodation for 2. It has good headroom, a carpeted interior floor area and a porch to provide shelter. We provide two single futon beds with foam mattress. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. The Pod has timber decking, and outside a picnic table, firebox and camp kitchen.

No dogs are allowed and the pod is non-smoking.

The lockable French doors are double glazed and the Cumbrian sheep's wool insulation and oil electric heater means that the pod is warm and snug. There is a small window in the back wall to provide light and ventilation, a lamp, free-sat television and electric sockets.

Please note that smoking, cooking, open fires or barbecues are not allowed inside the pods. Nor should hot items be placed on the timber decking.

10-amp electricity is included and the price includes use of on site facilities.

We also have glamping available in our bell tents.
