Inside, the cottage has a simple, traditional layout. The sitting room features exposed beams and an electric stove, creating a warm, relaxed space to return to after walking or cycling in the surrounding area. The kitchen, located just off the lounge, is compact but well-equipped, with granite worktops and a small dining area.

Upstairs, you’ll find one double bedroom and one single, both furnished in a straightforward, classic style. The modern shower room is on the ground floor.

Outside, there’s a shared garden with patio seating where you can take in the views or enjoy a quiet drink. The area is known for its wildlife -especially birdwatching, with ospreys often seen nearby - and Llyn Clywedog offers trout fishing and scenic walks around its large reservoir.

Llanidloes is just a short drive away, offering shops, cafes, and essentials. You’re also within easy reach of Hafren Forest, where marked trails lead through ancient woods and past rivers and waterfalls.

Beech Cottage can be booked alone or with two neighbouring properties (Oak Cottage and Cedar Cottage), accommodating up to nine guests in total.
