Cedar Cottage is a two-bedroom, semi-detached barn conversion set in the quiet countryside just outside Llanidloes. Once part of an old grinding mill, it now offers a relaxed stay for up to four adults - ideal for friends or two couples looking to combine comfort with access to the outdoors. Cedar Cottage can be booked alone or together with two neighbouring properties, accommodating up to nine guests in total.

Inside, the cottage has a simple, functional layout. The sitting room provides a comfortable place to unwind, while the adjoining farmhouse-style kitchen includes a dining area and all the essentials for self-catering. Upstairs, there’s one twin room and one double, both with storage and bedside lighting. A modern shower room is located on the same floor.

Outside, a shared rear garden provides a space to sit out or eat together, with a smaller bistro set at the front for morning coffee. The elevated position offers views across the surrounding farmland.

The cottage is well placed for walking, cycling, and exploring local trails, including The Severn Way, which leads to the source of the River Severn. Nearby Hafren Forest offers marked routes past waterfalls and through peaceful woodland. For day trips, you’re within reach of Powis Castle, Llyn Clywedog, and the coast - Aberystwyth and Aberdovey are both easily accessible by car.
