Chocolate Festival of Wales

About

The Chocolate Festival Wales will take place on Saturday 17 October 2026 in the market town of Llanidloes. The main festival hub will be the Minerva Arts Centre, with events and activities spread throughout the town between 10am and 3pm.

The festival celebrates Welsh chocolate, cacao culture, and independent food producers from across Wales. Visitors can expect artisan chocolate stalls, tastings, chocolate-making demonstrations, workshops, storytelling sessions, hot chocolate pop-ups, and family-friendly activities. Local cafés, shops, and venues around Llanidloes are also expected to host themed food and drink events during the day.

The event was launched to create a Wales-wide celebration of chocolate and sustainable cacao culture, bringing together makers, artists, and food enthusiasts.
