Maesyfelin Isaf offers relaxed, dog friendly, self catering accommodation for couples near Lampeter in Ceredigion. Set in generous grounds beside the river, it’s a calm, comfortable place to stay if you’re looking for space, peace and simple comforts, in a beautiful but overlooked part of Ceredigion in West Wales.

Many guests come here to slow down for a few days, enjoy time together, bring the dog and use our gardens, wooden footbridge, enjoy a riverside campfire with our fire pit. The apartment is an easy base for exploring this quieter part of Mid Wales, centrally located for both inland and coastal attractions.

We also have a 7.2kWh EV charger available for guests charged at 50p/hour.

Offers you privacy of your own front door via the external stone staircase and the ease of a home from home vibe. Inside you’ll find a comfortable double aspect Lounge overlooking our fields, Kitchen/Diner for preparing meals, Bathroom with shower over decent width bath and a cosy Bedroom with King size bed and plenty of wardrobe space for longer stays.

Grounds, River and Space to Unwind

Maesyfelin Isaf sits in spacious grounds with the river Cledlyn running through our land. You can stroll allong our mown field paths, sit with a drink, or simply listen to the water and birds without needing to get in the car.

It’s an easy place to slow down together and enjoy an unhurried breakfast, read, or have a barbecue by the river, before heading back indoors.

The apartment is close to Lampeter, a small market town in Ceredigion, and makes a central base for exploring Mid Wales and Cardigan Bay. Lampeter is just a 10 minute drive and it is where you can find both a Coop and a Sainsburys supermarket, with small local shops in Llanybydder just 5 minutes drive.

 

During your stay you can:

• See local National Trust properties, including Llanachaeron House and the Dolaucothi Gold Mines.
• Drive out to the coast for time by the sea, our favourite is the beach at Llangranog. Plus the choice of Aberporth and others along Cardigan Bay coast.
• Enjoy walks, scenic drives and quiet country lanes nearby.
• Visit local towns and villages along Cardigan Bay, including St Dogmaels and their local producers market every Tuesday.
• Explore Brechfa Forest, Cambrian Mountains and close access to many castles.

Whether you prefer short walks, browsing small towns, farmers markets, or simply changing the view for a few days, there’s plenty within easy reach.
