About

Dà Mhìle (pronounced da-vee-lay) is an organic distillery based on our family farm in Ceredigion. We make a range of spirits that are inspired by our surroundings & environmental ethos and are testament to Welsh craftsmanship that puts our passion for quality and flavour at the heart of every bottle.

Come and visit our small farm shop, Glynhynod Organic Farm Shop, or attend one of our events on the farm where we are passionate about reviving the original mission of education of all things organic, artisan food, drink and farming. You can also purchase our spirits at local farmer’s markets, local shops, wine & spirits merchants, and online. Gift vouchers available.

Glynhynod Talk and Tasting

Held in our beautiful 17th century gallery, you will be given a little talk about the farm, businesses and their history and a look at the still. This will be followed by a tasting of a few cheeses from Caws Teifi and either:

Our 4 main gins and rum OR 3 of our whiskys (selection dependant on availability)

Tastings are booking only and run Monday-Friday at midday, 1.30pm and 3pm (excluding bank holidays).

They last for roughly three quarters of an hour (gin) and 1 hour (whisky) and there is the chance afterwards to visit our farm shop where you can try any of our other products.

Minimum 2 people per booking, if you’d like to book for a large group and / or evening tasting, please enquire.

About the space

Our gallery was hand built by an in house team with help from locals, no crane was used to erect the many oak beams into the roof, with all the oak coming from the farm. It has a viewing platform where you can see the top of our state-of-the art still, and occasionally even watch our still in action.
