Glangwili Mansion sits in the Gwili Valley, surrounded by Brechfa Forest, just a few miles from the historic market town of Carmarthen. It’s the perfect central location to enjoy the wonderful countryside on our doorstep, the beautiful, uncrowded beaches, quiet seaside harbours and spectacular coastal walks - all within a short drive from the house.

After the difficult times that we have all been through, if you are feeling the need for space to breath, peace and tranquillity, you will find it here in abundance. Add to that the wealth of top class local pubs and restaurants that we have in the area and you’ve got a relaxing holiday break to remember!

Enjoy the luxurious, comfortable accommodation that is relaxed and informal – with service and attention to detail that is second to none. If you want to leave your car and just relax, you can sit on the terrace and soak up the peaceful surroundings of the garden. Feeling a bit more energetic, you may want take a forest walk from the doorstep. It’s completely up to you - this is your time to chill out and de-stress.

Road Directions

Follow the M4 to Pont Abraham and continue on the A48 to Carmarthen. Take the A40 then the A485 to Lampeter Travel through Peniel, Rhydargaeau and Pontersais. Turn right at signpost for Brechfa and Llanllawddog. Travel 1 mile and approx. 400 yards past the church you will see the entrance to Glangwili Mansion.
