About
Little Haven is popular in summer for diving and boating as well as for swimming and relaxing, there is slipway launching with easy access to the beach. The beach faces north-west, and offers shelter from the prevailing southwesterly winds. In the past, coal mined locally was shipped from Little Haven in small sailing vessels. Today, the village just behind the beach provides a shop, cafe and several pubs and the neighbouring resort of Broad Haven to the north has further shops and services. At low tide it is possible to walk across the beach to Broad Haven although care must be taken to avoid the incoming tide. The village hosts the RNLI inshore lifeboat station.
