About

Broad Haven is the perfect place for a family holiday. Located just 7 miles from Haverfordwest, it is a traditional seaside village towards the southern end of the glorious St Bride's Bay in Pembrokeshire. It is an open, west-facing bay with a large sandy beach and has been one of Pembrokeshire's most popular leisure spots since around 1800, when there were bathing machines on the beach. Today it's still popular for bathing, and is also used by windsurfers and surfers when conditions are right.

Cafes, pubs and restaurants are located behind the beach and surf board hire is also available. There are several local shops and a post office located just along the sea front. Surprisingly for a small village you will find a number of bars and pubs, as well as a bistro serving delicious, fresh foods.

Dog restrictions apply to the northern third of the beach between May and end September. Two car parks providing up to 200 spaces; the smaller car park on the seafront fills up very quickly. Toilets, slipway; lifeguard service provided June - early September.
