About

Wales Coast Awards - Blue Flag 2024

Dale is situated on the south eastern tip of Pembrokeshire and is a great spot for a range of water sports with sheltered conditions providing an excellent location for beginners. On windy days, the bay is always crowded with various forms of sailing craft, which may prove a hazard if you're bathing here.

There is good access to the beach for disabled people, using a wheelchair friendly concrete slip across the pebbles and on to the sand. In the past the village was quite a bustling place with eighteen pubs, but parts of Dale, including the village hall, now lie under the sea., today the village a busy yacht club.

Pub, cafe, small shops and water sports school. Dog restrictions apply to the northern end of the beach May - end September.
