About

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE WEST HOUSE
The West House is where the savvy join us for a chilled-out sundowner on a fine evening, lolling on the lawn with the dog, or chilling by the fireside on cooler days. People come for the warm welcome and the relaxed, bohemian atmosphere.
Something between a hotel and a guest house, the West House is tucked in a corner of the ‘Old Town” in Llantwit Major with its shops, pubs and cafes – but you can still be in Cardiff in half an hour. If you prefer something more outdoorsy, a meander down green lanes and pathways will lead you to the dramatic Jurassic cliffs of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
Come and see us if you’d like to be looked after by friendly people in a peaceful place: The West House Hotel is the perfect spot for a stay that’s good for the soul in Llantwit Major
