Come and enjoy this beautiful, two bedroom, executive, self-catering first floor apartment nestled on the banks of the River Cothi, within the quaint hamlet of Pontargothi. The spacious, open plan, galley style kitchen is perfect for entertaining, whilst both bedrooms have been elegantly decorated and offer open countryside views to the rear. The apartment enjoys views over the river Cothi and benefits from being situated perfectly between the historic market towns of Llandeilo and Carmarthen.

Take a stroll to a choice of two local pubs in the village, both serving home cooked meals and real ale.
Locally, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is home to the world’s largest, single span glasshouse and some truly magnificent sights. Aberglasney Gardens has some of the finest gardens in Wales, where you can explore more than 10 acres of magnificent gardens and a fully restored Grade II listed mansion house.

There are a host of activities to discover and things to see in the area. Take a step back in history and visit the National Trust nature reserve of Dinefwr, here you can uncover the delights of the historic house and 18th-century landscaped park, a deer park and Dinefwr Castle, it really offers something for all the family.

The Cothi is within easy reach of the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacon National Park, and to the west is the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Guests can also enjoy trout fishing on the River Cothi from the doorstep.

Road Directions

By car:
Following the M4 into Carmarthen and then at the first roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Llandeilo and onto the A40, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit following signs for Llandeilo, at the third exit take the 2nd exit signposted Llandeilo. Continue straight on the A40 for approx. 7 miles into the village of Pontargothi. As you go over the river bridge turn immediately right and into the front car park to The Cothi apartments where you will find ample parking.
